Madam Alimata Johnson is an accomplished Human Capital, Project Management, and Development Executive with over 15 years of progressive leadership experience across multinational corporations, nonprofit organizations, and the education sector. She brings deep expertise in corporate governance, startup leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic operations, with a proven ability to build, scale, and transform institutions to deliver sustainable, data-driven impact.
As Co-Founder and General Manager of Innovation Preparatory International Academy (IPREP) in Liberia, Alimata leads a transformative, values-driven educational initiative focused on STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Arts and Math) education, global readiness, and inclusive learning. She oversees academic, administrative, and financial strategy, while strengthening governance frameworks, institutional systems, and community engagement.
Alimata previously served in senior human resource leadership roles with APM Terminals in Liberia, Dubai, and the Netherlands, where she provided regional oversight across West Africa and Europe. She successfully led large-scale business transformation initiatives, talent and succession strategies, gender inclusion efforts, and cross-border change management programs. Her leadership contributed to strengthened organizational alignment, improved senior management diversity, and enhanced stakeholder partnerships at national and international levels.
