Daniel K. Wollo Jr. is an experienced banking professional
with over 20 years of commercial banking expertise, currently serving as Head of Banking Operations at SIB (Liberia) Limited (formerly GN Bank Liberia).
Throughout his tenure with the institution, he has held several key leadership roles, including Risk Officer, Head of Human Resources, Head of Operations, Head
of Business Affairs, Head of Credit, and Head of Administration & Special Projects. His broad exposure across core banking functions has equipped him with
deep institutional knowledge and a strong capacity for risk management, operational oversight, and strategic execution.
Prior to joining SIB, Daniel worked with Wells Fargo Bank in Fargo, North Dakota, USA, as a Customer Service Representative at
the Customer Service Operations Center, gaining valuable international banking experience.
He began his banking career in 2005 at First International Bank (FIB) as a Teller and steadily progressed through various
roles, including Clearing Officer, Operations Officer, Reconciliation Officer, Branch Manager, Head of Operations, and Head of
Internal Control & Compliance. This progressive career path reflects his strong leadership capabilities, operational
competence, and commitment to professional growth.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management from the University of Liberia and a Master’s degree in
Administration from Walden University, USA. He has also completed several professional banking trainings and earned diplomas
from the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM) and the Financial Institutions Training Centre
(FITC). His comprehensive experience and continuous professional development position him as a well-rounded banking executive
with strong expertise in risk, compliance, and institutional governance.
